Het voorzetselvoorwerp is in het Nederlands een veel voorkomend zinsdeel. Grammatica's en methodes voor studenten als vreemde taal of tweede schenken echter niet aandacht aan dit zinsdeel beperken zich meestal tot lijsten met werkwoorden hun vaste voorzetsel. In verleden werd zelfs bediscussieerd wel voorwerp is.
